My name is Keith . Years ago I had a vision of becoming a photographer so that I could take pictures of life in action, but ironically, my life got in the way. I found myself married and later had children. This life change placed my photographer dreams on the back burner. I was now living for my family. |

I later signed up for Fire College and completed the second part of my dream. I then became a career Firefighter and found it was now I who was the subject of those action shots. The hours of my job were 24 on 48 off, but according to our chief, we were on call 24/7. Now 20 something years later, I have survived a divorce plus all the true stories of fighting fire. I had beaten the dragon. I put in my time on the job. The worst thing that happened to me was a bad case of steam burns. I retired from my services as a Career Florida Firefighter in late 2005. I am now self-employed and doing what I love. Firefighters are not born, we are made this way with constant training to keep us up to date and on our toes for whatever lies ahead. I will always be a Firefighter, I have taken the oath and swore to always save lives and protect property.
My passion for photography grows more and more as the days go by.
I also have a passion for travel and do it every chance I get. I've been fortunate to experience overseas travel to 3rd world country's and the land down under, with nothing more then a back-pack and a camera. I now live here in the Denver Area with my new wife who is the love of my life.
This is the reason I created OFF-DUTY Images ©. |
